Kartika Soekarno Foundation is a small non-profit organization that seeks to improve the quality of education in Indonesian primary schools and to provide better health and nutritional services to indonesian women. On a small budget, lilo studio created a 5-piece invitation set for the foundation's New York fundraiser- which celebrated the opening of an exhibit of Magnum Photographs at the Asia Society and Museum, and was followed by a dinner at the Indonesian Consulate. lilo studio obtained rights to two Indonesian batik designs and used them on a sleeve and rsvp card—adding color and a hand-crafted cultural flavor to the set.
